How do I turn measurements into a piece count?

Add the runs that use the same profile, include a project allowance, divide by its listed piece length and round up. For 72 linear ft with a 10% allowance: 72 × 1.10 = 79.2 ft; 79.2 ft ÷ 8 ft = 9.9, so the starting quantity is 10 pieces. Count each-unit components separately. The calculator estimates whole pieces; your installer confirms the cuts and allowance for the actual layout.

Which price should I use?

Multiply the whole-piece count by the current price shown on that variant's product page. A Canadian dollar figure, when shown, is an estimate. Use the displayed price for the exact variant rather than an old quote or another profile.

What is missing from the materials estimate?

Shipping depends on the order and destination. Molding Studio calculates it after your request and confirms the delivered total before invoicing. The buyer pays any customs duties, taxes or brokerage fees on cross-border orders.
